Dear BeerTasters!
The first BeerTasting Challenge is over and Salzburg is slowly settling down again. We hope you all had a nice & beery time and wish you a pleasant end to this tasting-filled day.
Impressive numbers
More than 1,000 BeerTasters wandered through Salzburg’s alleys today, tasting the best beer specialties our latitudes have to offer. A complete success, we think!
1055 participants were there, to be exact. Of these…
…143 BeerTasters achieved the Challenge Badge in Gold (at least 15 stations reached)
…359 reached silver (at least 10 stations reached)
…and 235 achieved at least bronze (at least 5 stations reached).
Nothing is perfect
Of course, the Challenge didn’t run completely smoothly either – unfortunately, some stations were “drunk out” quite early due to the unexpectedly high rush and had to refer BeerTaster to other stations. We would like to sincerely apologize for this – we had not expected such a high turnout, but are of course extremely happy about it!
How it goes on
Next year we are planning one (or more?) BeerTasting Challenge. If you still have tokens left, please visit us at the BeerTasting Shop Salzburg at Biberngasse 31, where you can exchange them for various beer gifts & pick up your metal badge, if outstanding!
