The Kalea Beer Advent Calendars – now available in their 16th edition

Since 2010, the Kalea Beer Advent Calendars have stood for variety, quality, and the joy of discovery. When Alexandra and Peter Reimann founded the company, a simple yet brilliant idea gave rise to a successful concept: bringing together exciting beers from different breweries in a single Advent calendar. “The concept of beer Advent calendars has now become an integral part of the pre-Christmas season,” explains founder Peter Reimann. In the early years, the idea still needed explanation—today, it’s simply part of many households: children enjoy their chocolate calendars, while adults explore new beers throughout December. And it’s no longer just “dad”—many women also appreciate good beer.

The growing popularity of the concept is reflected, among other things, in its appearance on the popular Stefan Raab show on RTL, where well-known Advent calendars were tested. The Kalea Beer Advent Calendar was, of course, included—and received very positive feedback from the judges Stefan Raab and Elton.

With Its Own App: Beer Tasting as a Daily Experience

A special highlight is the Kalea app, developed in-house. It turns daily tasting in December into an interactive experience. By scanning the EAN code of each day’s bottle, users receive exciting background information about the beer, the brewery, and the brewing style—perfect for explorers, connoisseurs, and anyone who wants to learn more about beer.
